These live lobsters are available for nationwide overnight shipping only and are not available for local pickup. We only ship Monday- Thursday with a 12pm Daily cutoff. 

Live Maine Lobster Sizes

We offer three size options for our live Maine lobsters:

• Chicks – Minimum weight of 1.0 lb, averaging approximately 1.1 lbs.
• Quarters – Minimum weight of 1.25 lbs, with an average weight of about 1.35 lbs.
• Halves – Minimum weight of 1.5 lbs, typically averaging around 1.65 lbs.

Because every lobster is unique, actual weights may vary slightly.

Shipping Information

Your order is carefully packed in insulated shipping containers with reusable ice packs to keep your lobsters cold throughout transit. Hard-shell Maine lobsters can generally remain healthy for 24–36 hours out of water when kept properly chilled.

Every lobster is inspected and packed alive before leaving our facility. While we take every precaution to ensure they arrive in excellent condition, we cannot guarantee the survival of every lobster during shipping.

If a Lobster Arrives Not Alive

On rare occasions, a lobster may not survive the trip. If the lobster has remained cold during transit, it is typically safe to cook and eat. After cooking, check for a strong ammonia odor. If you notice this smell, discard the lobster. If there is no ammonia odor, your lobster is safe to enjoy.
